A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM KEVIN:

I am very happy to announce that through the hand drumming part of my music business (Circular Motion) I have been accepted and granted the authority and rights to carry the brand of the DRUMSTRONG organization in Canada, specifically Ontario.

This will make my branch the very first Canadian branch of DRUMSTRONG.

DRUMSTRONG: DrumsForCures was created as a natural expression of a dedicated group of hand drummers throughout the world to be a vibrant part of beating cancer.

Since rhythm is universal we decided that an event centered around the art and fun of hands on drumming would be a great way to bring people together. Our mission is to provide a vehicle for health entities and cancer societies to show communities the resources at hand to assist in directing and easing cancer concerns.

Facilitating the ‘introduction’ and advancement of important organizations supporting those dealing with cancer, promoting early detection and working towards cures is our goal, and a cause that is very close to my heart.

This Spring, we will set the rhythm in motion again at DRUMSTRONG 2016. Our 10th Anniversary Drum Circle, May 21, raises awareness and funds supporting cancer survivorship, education and research.www.drumstrong.org

We are going to play with the world here. Quite literally.

I would like to invite all of my friends to contact me to participate in this event either by attending for a fun outing to play or learn to play hand drums or by volunteering to help me in the planning and coordination of our event.

Everyone has been touched by cancer in one way or another, help me embrace and support local charities by bringing them into our Circle to create an uplifting, focused, fun collaboration: Hospitals, organizations, clinics, camps, patients, families, staff, friends, etc. and encourage donations and/or "per hour drumming pledges" to additionally fortify the local and global efforts of DrumsForCures - Drumming to beat cancer.
